R2 Alpha Fund Management LLC focuses on sectors where we possess an “advantaged” position relative to other potential buyers through our network, knowledge of industry trends, and alongside strategic relationships that alert us to potential acquisition targets. We operate globally where strong fundamentals exist, and where we possess legal, accounting and operational expertise.
Our intent is first and foremost to make intelligent investment decisions. The fund’s underlying goal is to invest across market cycles to withstand short-term capital market fluctuations. We intend to focus on growth stage investments, expansion projects, and new privatizations of existing operating assets among known operating entities with verifiable track records. We will be strategically concentrated, but to mitigate specific investment risks on deploying capital, we intend to diversify across geographies, stage and industry after an initial investment ramp-up period.
